acellus academy and ivy leagues
I go to a very high-ranked public high school in the Bay Area CA. I have a 4.0 unweighted, 36 ACT, many APS, research with a university professor, nonprofit organization, internships, etc. I'm a senior and am applying to a lot of Ivy Leagues and other top 20 schools.
Due to personal reasons (I will mention these in my application), I really want to switch to online school. I first tried calling California Virtual Academy and Connections Academy because those seem more credible, but CAVA is full and Connections is wait-list only.
Would it ruin my application chances if I switch to Acellus? It's the only online school I can find that offers many APs besides CAVA and Connections. However, it doesn't have semester grades, so I can't give senior grades to my regular decision schools until after I get in. Also, it just kind of seems like universities would look down on it.
This is not why I want to drop out, but in case it's relevant, I'm also very likely going to get a B this semester if I stay at my school.
