Brick wall collapsed due to insane windstorm SoCal

The crazy fire and windstorm tore down my brick wall separating my neighbor and I. I read mix messages on whether i should go through insurance or not. Does anyone have any tips on what i should do?

Somethings that come to mind. Property line, paying half. What would be your next move? I found out the neighbor behind me is renting and he gave me his landlord info.
