Smartplug or strip?

Hello everyone,

I am looking for a Zigbee/smart power strip with at least 5 plugs that I can add to HA. An alternative I was considering is to get 5 Zigbee plugs and plug them into a regular power strip, but I’m not sure to what extent this is possible/safe.

Usage is for a desk (49inch monitor, charger, docking station and 2 led strips).
