Help with automations and voice assistant (HA Voice PE)

Hey everyone...

I continue to make progress with my shiny new HA Voice Assistant PE. As noted in other posts, its good but with some rough edges which was to be expected.

But I am now at the stage where I have it announcing certain weather events and really like it! However there are some "conditional" things I'd like to add to make it a bit more usable. Let me explain...

I have a few automations which take the wind speed from my local (in the backyard) weather station and announce them. For example 3,5, and 10 MPH wind speeds. It works, but can also be a bit annoying when it continually announces the lower end 3 MPH several times in a hour.

What I'd like is for it to wait a certain period before announcing again and ONLY IF, it has crossed over into the next threshold. Say from 3 to 5, then 5 to 10 MPH. I hope this makes sense.

Not sure how best to go about this...any tips would be hugely appreciated!
