Winter Pants

What do you wear for pants during the colder months? I usually can’t keep warm in just leggings.

Edit: Thanks for all the recommendations! I’ve been looking at the brands you all are recommending for soft shell pants and thermals. I’m new to winter hiking so it’s been great to find a community like this one.
