Salewa or Lowa Mid High GTX

I have been trying on mid high GTX boots and I think I have it narrowed down to two. I would appreciate the groups input.

Salewa Mtg Trailer Lite GTX - $220 (This model appears to have come out about 3 years ago.

Lowa Renegade EVO GTX - GTX (This is the replacement boot for the Lowa Renegade GTX)

I live in the mountains of Colorado. Generally, the humidity is fairly low but we have frequent afternoon showers. I also like to walk a couple dogs in the mornings and the grass I walk through is typically wet from heavy dew. If I do not have a waterproof shoe, I come home with wet feet. Distance wise, I rarely walk over 5 miles. If my planned hike will be less distance or I do not anticipate wetness, I usually wear a low hiking shoe.

I do not have any experience with either shoe mfg. Wearing these two boots around the store with hiking socks, they feel very similar. At least to my eye, the Salewa will have somewhat better ventilation due to what feels like a more porous tongue. Wondering if anyone has experience with either boot.
