I can’t seem to fix my humidity!

I was having a difficult time regulating my main tank’s humidity. It always leans higher. I’d taken steps to correct this but the few mornings it’s been 88%. To try and fix the humidity I: 1. Redid my substrate bc it was too saturated 2. Got smaller pools 3. Lowered the amount of air being pumped into the bubblers 4. Increased the heat

This all worked for a few weeks then suddenly my humidity skyrocketed. The water around the steps to my bubblers is extremely wet. I’ll replace the top layer with dry sand but it gets damp again.

Does anyone know how else I can keep my humidity down?

I wonder if it’s the plants around my bubblers but this wasn’t an issue before.
