Returning to service

Hello fellow helldivers! After a while away I am coming back to the game and getting back into it. Along with this I am able to get one warbond at the moment and wanted to ask what is actually useful in the current stage of the game/meta. From what I understand democratic detonation, polar patriots, and viper commandos are the best overall. So what is your advice divers?
