Invisible fire is bullshit

I cannot tell you how many times my character just randomly will catch on fire despite no visible fire source being near me at all. I’m not sure if it’s a client side thing or not, but it kills me way too often. If I can see the fire, I know I need to stim so I can counteract it. I can’t really do much if I’m just running around and my character starts screaming for no reason then keels over dead before I have time to figure out what’s happening. My guess is that it’s an issue with the explosive barrels they pile up near the extraction site, which bots and bugs can walk over and set off, creating a glitchy area of fire that half the time doesn’t even show up on my screen. Please give us a fire resistant armor or remove the explosive barrels because honestly who tf even uses them. They kill me more than contact mines.
