Four Seasons Hotel Chain/Disneyland

As a former friend of Haleighs, I'm appalled at the amount of people she is hurting. I was scammed by Haleigh but I was one of the lucky ones to have gotten my money back. I however will never get back the time and energy I wasted in a fake friendship that was trying to scam me for deposit money.

This all started in August/September 2023 when Haleigh ask my family to go on a dream Disneyland trip with her family. This trip was supposed to take place in August of 2024. She said she already paid a deposit for this trip but that Disneyland was gifting her the trip in exchange for photos she would take as an influencer. This trip included hotel lodging at the California Grand Hotel for 5 nights, park tickets for my whole family, a huge amount of spending money as well to use in the parks. We were blown away by her kindness to even think of our family for this trip.

Fast forward to January/February 2024 Haleigh is diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer. We are so devastated by this news. My heart broke for her whole family. She then was being evicted from the home she was renting and had to move back in with her parents. During this time I tried helping Haleigh in anyway I could. How horrible that this is all happening to someone so kind.

Because our friendship really began to flourish, she offered to take me on a trip to California on a girls trip weekend. Haleigh said she represents the Four Seasons Hotel chain. Basically they pay her with free trips anywhere in the world. Flights, lodging, car rental and anything at the resort she wants is paid for. She said all we have to pay for is a deposit for incidentals. For this trip I paid a couple hundred dollars as well as money for a deposit for a massage that she said if for any reason we needed to cancel, we would get our money back if we cancelled 24 hours before. She kept telling me she wanted to teach me how to do what she does because she makes a ridiculous amount of money being an influencer. I didn't want to do that because I honestly didn't take her influencer career seriously. She doesn't even post anything worth watching and her engagement rate is very low.

It came time for the trip to happen and she was sick. I of course understand because she's battling cancer. How can I be mad? Well, getting my money back was not easy. Either she would ignore me completely or have an excuse to why she can't send it. Her communication was horrendous to put it nicely. After basically threatening her, I got that deposit back

As time went on Haleigh asked us to go on another trip to Disneyland in September to go to the Oggie Boogie bash. Everything included again. I did, however, pay a deposit for this trip as well. I believe it was a few hundred dollars.

I had communicated with Haleigh, our families need to meet. Her husband, needs to meet my husband. Why would I go on all of these disney trips to share a hotel room with a complete stranger? A year of excuse after excuse. She would always bring up trips and it became exhausting. Are you sick? Are you not sick? I just wanted her to get better because she made it seem like she was in fact very sick. I don't know what to believe anymore.

Fast forward to summer 2024, remember that big Disneyland trip she already paid a deposit for?? Well now she's asking us for more money even through it was already taken care of the summer before. I refused to send her more money and this is when my wheels started turning but always gave her the benefit of the doubt. When it came time for this big trip to happen in August of 2024, my husband still hasn't meet her husband. Shocker. After a year or begging her basically. I have a real job, my husband has a real job. We have lives to plan here. I reached out to her and shocker she's sick and then a few days later she said her cancer is basically gone and she can go on the trip now. We honestly were over the back and forth about everything and the trip was canceled.

After canceling this big trip, I reached out to cancel the trip for the Oggie Boogie bash because at this point I do not trust her or believe anything she says. She's very hard to get a straight answer from. It took forever to get my money back. Excuse after excuse after excuse. Her venmo doesn't work, only Charles does. I would wake up and send a venmo request every single day until I had to again get really upset with her and said I need my money right now. This whole thing was so upsetting. None her stories ever made any sense. Never.

While I guess you can say I was never scammed, I did however deal with her lies.

I cannot confirm or deny if she does in fact have cancer, but now I question everything that came out of her mouth. It's unfortunate that it has to come to that.

Reach out to Disney and four seasons so they know who is using their name to get deposit money from people. This can't be right.
