Email from employer asking employees outside the country to return to the US by Jan 20, 2025

Just got an email from my employer asking all employees who might be outside the US to return by Jan 20. Not sure if it was sent to visa holders only or everyone, but regardless, this is the first I'm hearing about employers asking employees to return. I heard universities are doing this, so wanted to share. Email talks about the possibility of new executive orders being signed on that date.
