[DW-5000R] Beyond excited about this watch.

“But it doesn’t have solar”…“It’s the same as the DW-5600” …Say what you will, those who get it get it. Made in Japan, full steel case, and all the charm of the original 5000C.

Only thing I wish they would do the same as the 1983 OG model is use “200M” instead of “20 BAR.” I’ve never understood why they don’t. Maybe someday.

I’m even more pleased with Casio for making this a regular production model. It’s the honorable move. Even more amazing that they’re making the DW-5600RL for almost the same look at half the cost. What a gift to the fans at the end of Casio’s 50 year anniversary. First the Casiotron at the beginning of the year, and now this. Righteous.
