House Help (New to the city)

Hello redditors, I am looking to move to glasgow with my partner in February. We were wondering what areas are safe to live in or what postcodes should we be looking at and what postcodes/areas to avoid completely. Areas or postcodes with good transport, nearby groceries shopping. We are looking for a room in 2bed flat or even a studio, however we've set our budget to around 800pcm. We're currently viewing a house in G40, (near Bridgeton Rail Station) I'm not sure how safe the area is and the grocery shopping seems to be far. But I'd like your opinion on this area. If you guys have any leads on any house starting in February, hmu please. Thank you.
