What’s your favorite point criteria?

Today while at an event someone mentioned that with only a few exceptions, they dedicate all their favorite points to caches within a 10 or so mile radius from them to help foster more hiding of quality caches in their area. This was an interesting take on awarding favorite points I hadn’t heard before.

I’m curious to hear if anyone else has any criteria for giving favorite points that isn’t just making a list of what you perceive to be the highest quality caches of all your finds, or how you might define “highest quality” in the first place.
