Games where you play as a non-human character

Basically what it says in the title. Bonus points if it has customization options, too (but not a necessity). Characters that look exactly like humans but are technically androids/aliens/demigods or whatever don't count.

(Note for others looking: Kind of a long list, but some games like this that I've already played are Sonic, Mario (some), Hollow Knight, Armored Core, Stray, NiGHTS, Outer Wilds, Goat Simulator, Bugsnax, Super Smash Bros, Animal Jam, Fer.al, Skullmonkeys, Abe's Oddysee)
