Steam wand joy
This morning I replaced my steam wand valve. It was pretty hard to crack off the boiler even though I use filtered water and descale. I have used it every day for a couple years now. It was a refurb when I got it and dripped right away which is apparently really common. The puddle of water and having to always keep a cup in place to catch the drip was my only frustration with the machine. This is only day one but I all always really happy. The pressure is still great and was not bad before the swap. I got the kit to replace the valve on the unit if I ever need it. Only when I watched the install did I learn the plastic internal splash protector would not fit and that they sell them our you can 3d print them. I may get that eventually.
