How do I change my name and gender legally?

I live in Michigan, and I looked up the process but I’m left very confused and anxiety ridden about the process. I’m mainly anxious because I don’t have any adults in my life that support me, so this is something I have to figure out on my own.

I guess I just came here to ask, if any of you have legally changed your name and gender, how was the process? And what advice would you give? What should I expect? Anything would be helpful
