Please tell me it will stop

TW menstruation/birth control

Six weeks on T gel. Periods are heavier, more frequent, and last longer than before T. Wt actual f.

Currently on progestin IUD, Mirena, which had almost stopped them.

Endo thinks upping the dose, from 20mg to 40mg will solve it. I was happy on 20 though and am worried about hair loss.

Anyone had similar experience? This seems so backwards. I'm having trouble finding anything online, other than everyone is different.

Sorry if this is pretty basic. Most of my trans network is mtf.
