I don’t understand the love for bloodborne

farming for health vials, no dodging while locked on, jank, most of the bosses are gimmicks that suck, there are like 4 good base game bosses, and two of them are super early on (father g and vicar amelia).

I like the combat against bosses, but i feel like enemies are spammed worse than ds2, and the areas progressively get worse. Is it a good game? yes. Is it in the top 3 objectively? absolutely not.

the biggest thing this game has going for it is atmosphere. i find myself making a new character and playing for a couple hours until i reach witches of hemwick, rom, shadows of yharnam, and micolash(terrible boss run btw.) can someone admit that that this game is overrated so I don’t feel crazy? sorry for bad grammer its 1am and i dont feel like capitilizing stuff
