Framer pricing is out of touch with reality

We’re a consultancy and I want to ship 20-30 sites in Framer this year.

But if I want to collaborate with colleagues and clients within the platform, it’s going to cost a fortune. I’m extrapolating the costs out now, and it makes no sense to build on the platform.

I don’t see how they didn’t solve for this use case. The pricing almost suggests they didn’t consider agencies or consultancies—or that they don’t want them.

How do their advisors and investors not see the play here? Even if it’s charge less than the competition for years to create market lock-in? The product is too young and it’s too early to start aggressive pricing tactics. It’s like what Figma did raising pricing and changing the model last year, but feels like at 5x the cost, with 5x less of a completed roadmap.

I want to love this product, but now I feel like I can’t trust it.
