Help w/Identification

Found in Austin Creek

I’ve recently been walking creeks around Austin looking for fossils and artifacts. I came across a few stones today that have me puzzled. I tried image search and I’m still unsure. I’m posting here because search turned up both tooth and petrified wood. Thoughts?

I will say I’ve spent a lot of time in this creek and never found anything similar.
