Cat opened my freezer!

So my cat opened the freezer door (long story) when I went out of town. Within ~24 hours my cat sitter had noticed the freezer door wide open. The ice cream gallon was a bit melted, but it's hard to know if it was open for 10 minutes or ~16 hours.

Inside, I had sealed porkchops and chicken as well as the ice cream and an opened pack of bacon. I already ate some of the ice cream, and so far, I haven't keeled over.

Now, my family and friends have all agreed that I should not eat any of it. However, google seems to think I should be safe. I'm not one to waste food, but I don't want to die.

Should I eat the food (or potentially only some of it)?
