What is the most tedious useless decision or thing you MUST do?

I have decided to kit all my settlers out in uniform. Now I figured being a vault dweller it's only fitting that everyone be in a vaultsuit, so of course my first tedious activity is the going back and forth for about 600 suits SMDH

then I want them all in combat armor, but not the regular green that I get from farming gunners, which of course would be so fast and easy, but nox I want the "metal" look of the shadowed version, so now I keep running out of adhesive and oil and leather which of course slows everything down hahaha

And of course they are all fitted with identical combat rifles with all the bells and whistles to promote hip fire and damage, which of course sucks all my aluminum and screws and adhesive dry so again slows things down.

Of course I'm still enjoying it as it's part of my style and my "vision"...lol

Is there anything that you do that is something that you MUST do that are not the easy version of your goal and seem super dreadful to others but yourself?

Edit: I just had an encounter with the vault-tec rep and now he is my trader at sanctuary, he is the only person other than Preston, strugess, mama Murphy, and marry who I put in rags and a sack hood who are not in my "uniforms"
