Is the Mega Pizzaplex partially a remodeled older location? (games' timeline)
Hey, I can't help but notice how dated the architecture and overall design of the building is for it to have been built brand new in the 2020's to 2030's. I know, it's supposed to have an 80's vibe in the public places, but actually, the whole thing including the staff areas and everything looks like it's been built in the 80's to early 2000's. There are CRT monitors in some of the offices and more of them just hanging out in some of the storage rooms, some rooms look like they've been through many years of wear and tear, there are fluorescent lights and discharge light bulbs and overall the vibe of the building is giving 90's to 00's. Help Wanted 2 present us with these extremely thick monitors used as reference for some tasks in the Pizzaplex minigames, which look like the earliest flatscreens to ever have been made. But then there are modern LEDs in other places, flatscreen monitors, and other things. I was thinking, what if the Pizzaplex, at least partially, was a different location before, like a mall or another entertainment center, and it was rebranded and partly reconstructed by Fazbear. Of course I'm only talking about the games' timeline, not the books, as we know that in the books there was a brand-new construction. Then there's another option. The developers might've designed the Pizzaplex like this intentionally to just evoke the nostalgic feelings, and in-universe, modern building might just look like that, considering the starkly retro ad-styled cutscenes and trailers for Help Wanted 2. It might be a nod to universes like Cyberpunk, where there's retrofuturistic architecture and outdated tech in relation with super-modern stuff. What are your opinions about that? Discuss with me in the comments, please.H
