Into the Pit bug

I am on night 4, and I am at the part where I am helping the little girl in the security room. The problem is that when I check the cameras, I get like teleported below the room and start sinking into an endless abyss. I still have footsteps, so I thought I could maybe run to the door and hopefully interact with it and leave to maybe reset the room, but that didn’t work. Has anyone else come across this bug? If so, were you able to get around it? By the way I am playing on switch if that matters.
