Thank you!
Few days ago I washed my hair & they came out in the worst shape ever (the second picture), almost all hair strands were stringy, oily-like & when touched would leave an oily residue on the hands. Instead of crying about it, I made a post seeking help. Over the past two years my hair always would dry with this not so clean back part & I couldn't wear my hair down because of it...
Yesterday, I tried my best to lift off as much dandruff & gunk from my scalp with a hair comb, took 15-20 minutes.
Now, today, I gathered the advice from that posts comments & did my best:
Brushed my hair back, then to the front (from the back), to the left & to the right.
Rinsed my dry hair with an apple cider vinegar & water mixture (3.5 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar into 500 ml of warm water).
Let that sit for 2 minutes.
Went straight (did not rinse my hair with water after apple cider vinegar mixture) into shampooing (used Redken volume injection shampoo), vigorously rubbed it into my scalp.
Let that sit for 3 minutes. When waiting I distributed some shampoo into my mids & ends. Rubbed conditioner (Hempz Triple Moisture conditioner) into my mids & ends too.
Rinsed my hair throughly with warm water.
Shampooed again. It lathered so so so much, I can't remember the last time my hair did that on the second wash!
Rinsed my hair with warm water.
Gently went through my wet hair with a towel. But the towel over my shoulders & then for an hour did some chores.
Blow dried them for 10-20 minutes. It was really swift.
Went through them with my WetBrush hair brush (THAT I CLEANED YESTERDAY WITH BAR SOAP & A TOOTHBRUSH).
Took the first picture!
My hair never feel this clean! My scalp has ZERO... ZERO dandruff or just residue!
THANK YOU SO SO MUCH!!
I will say, I need recommendations for:
detangling products, maybe a better conditioner because they were so so hard to brush,
heat protectants, since I will be blow drying them from now on!
