Costes, Budapest *
Partner and I were in Budapest for a week. Went to Costes for lunch and got the 3 course degustation menu. My favorite dish was the aged foie gras within pear compote. Dessert was a bit too "try hard" imo and wasn't very good. Service was very relaxed and friendly, at the end the sommelier brought out a huge bottle of port and jokingly offered it to everyone.
I would highly recommend this city for food as many fine dining restaurants have lunch menus that are very affordable
