How do you guys earn the plushies?

I want to do the work and save for the plushies. But I have a child finch and most things that appear on the store are new for me. So, saving is difficult.

How do you guys do it? I am looking for tips and tricks. How long does it usually take you to save for a plushie? Do ya all not buy anything while saving for it?
