How much did you babies cost you?

So I’m originally from NYC, but I’m just moving to New Jersey, and I recently went to a PetCo and saw two boys for sale. $500 per boy!!!!! I was flabbergasted at the price. I got my girls for $100 total!!!!!!! Granted, their adoption fee was $50 each, and they were a tester ferrets prior to their rescue but $500 for a baby that’s gonna chew on your couch?! Insaneeeee!!!!! Plus, I read that most of the ferrets here in the US, are Marshalls (I’m laughing because I’m thinking about the department store)? And those ferrets seem to have the most health problems? ://// How can you tell if a ferret is a Marshalls ferret???
