Suitcase solo trip

Just booked a hostel for my solo trip in portugal. Im flying with a suitcase. I love clothes, makeup and skincare. Makeup and skincare make me happy. ive already traveled with a backpack before. I felt like it was so messy and very uncomfortable for my back. I know that i prefer a suitcase, im just worried that ill be the only one in the hostel with a big suitacse. Are there any people here that prefer solo traveling woth a suitcase?
