Will I like Clockwork Boys?

I only read {swordheart by kingfisher}. It's a good book, but I'm not into cozy fantasy. The thing I didn't like is too much focus on being middle-aged and awkward.

{Clockwork boys} sounds like I might enjoy it. But I'm concerned about the love triangle. How bad is it?
