Album Challenge Day 12: 「Razzmatazz」

Namesake: "Razzmatazz" – from the album of the same name by I DONT KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME

Stand User: Bagliore, real name Al Whitley

ACT 1-

Appearance:
Razzmatazz ACT 1 is a small bug-like stand, white in color. The stand has two small arms and no legs, with its body below the waist being an engorged abdomen-tail. Two golden-scaled stripes run down its shoulders all the way over that abdomen.

The stand has no mouth. Its eyes are small and featureless, and it has no nose. Razzmatazz ACT 1 is about the size of a cat.

Stats:
Power- E (Small stand with little combat power)
Speed- E (Incredibly slow / Ability speed unrelated
Range- B (45 meter radius)
Durability- A (Incredibly resilient for its size)
Precision- A (High specificity of control)
Potential- A

Abilities:
Razzmatazz ACT 1 has the ability to drastically slow down the light around it. How much it is slowed by can be changed, but it will never drop below 120 mph (~193 kph). Regardless, the change can be severe.

Using the ability all at once would have no observable effect inside, while looking wonky outside. However, by reducing the speed at which light enters a person's eyes after bouncing off of objects, Razzmatazz can greatly distort one's vision and perspective.

ACT 2-

Appearance:
Razzmatazz ACT 2 is a humanoid stand around the size of a toddler. Its body is still segmented like an insect's, though it now has 4 proper limbs. The golden-scaled stripes now intersect from shoulder to opposite hip, and run down the outer thighs.

The stand still has no mouth or nose, now with much larger eyes. Its eyes are black, with small white 'pupils' within.

Stats:
Power- C (Average power for a stand)
Speed- D (Still relatively slow)
Range- C (20 meter radius on a 20 meter range)
Durability- B
Precision- B
Potential- C

Abilities:
Razzmatazz ACT 2 is able to make all light particles 'stick' to normal objects rather than bounce off of them. In effect, this makes affected objects and areas pure white. The ability functions irrelevant of lenses, mirrors, and other factors that would affect light, allowing for completely white spaces nearly impossible to make sense of.

The ability relies on light already being present to 'stick,' and it cannot stick light onto objects for long periods of time.

ACT 3-

Appearance:
Razzmatazz ACT 3 is a full-sized humanoid stand, with no segmented body parts. The golden-scaled lines are now a mass of sashes covering its shoulders, waist, and midriff. The stand's eyes are now arranged vertically and take up the entirety of its face; two box-shaped eyes filled with 'stars' it sees out of.

Its body is still white, and its extremities appear as though they were drenched in golden glitter.

Stats:
Power- A (Massive increase in combat power)
Speed- B (Far faster now)
Range- D (5 meter effective range)
Durability- D (Oddly frail, now)
Precision- D (Ability is near-incapable of fine control now)
Potential- E

Abilities-
Razzmatazz ACT 3 is a much stronger stand physically than it was before, with the strength to bend steel and the speed to keep up with the best of them. It's most notable change, however, is in ability.

At its third stage, Razzmatazz is able to give a certain amount of "mass" to light particles. This mass is not real, but rather an effect that is enabled by its ability that "increases" the amount of force light particles apply. This "increase in force" is the logic of Razzmatazz's ability works under.

By increasing force applied, Razzmatazz's ability allows it to turn light into a powerful exertion of destructive power; it weaponizes light.

For example, by simply turning on a flashlight while pointing it at a target, Razzmatazz can break concrete, tear wood, and puncture metal. The overall power does not increase with the amount of light it is using, but more light does mean a high area of effect.

The power is executed as though it were physical, meaning it can technically be blocked. Furthermore, the force put out can only be continuous for a short amount of time, ending after around 3 seconds until next activation.

The User:

When he was young, Bagliore was enamored by the idea of acting. He saw it as the ultimate kind of art; like drawing an image over a living, breathing person that could still inspire others. He dedicated hours to practicing and examining actors, trying to mimic their mannerisms and adopt their figure.

It was only after he'd grown that Bagliore saw something deeper to what acting could be. A bit of scrubbing, a bit of work: you can be a whole new person to everyone around you. Not just feeding a false face, but blotting out any trace of old one's. Without that old face – without the context of the act – who would ever know the truth?

Despite his interests in acting, Bagliore was a criminal for a very long time. A gopher, a rat, an ant on the wall; a snake slithering in the underbelly and getting out with no scratches. An easy role to play was that of a naive suck-up. A humble background and some feigned cluelessness were all he needed to worm his way into good graces.

Bagliore's final acting lesson came when he reached the top: the sheer power a face can wield. Trust and loyalty and devotion built upon charisma and glamour that promised the best and inspired. No glaring flaws or glittering warnings to pollute the image.

He took over the mob without a single shot fired; without a single drop of blood; without any fuss or issue. Clean, efficient, and shining.
