Album Challenge Day 11: 「Door」

Namesake:

"Door" – Track 11 of Razzmatazz by I DONT KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME

Stand User:

Elise Swift

User Appearance:

Elise is a average height woman, of slim but muscular build. She has soft olive skin, long brown hair, and eyes an emerald green. Her skin has grown slightly wrinkled, most evident when she smiles.

Elise wears baby-blue nail extenders to match her lipstick and stand. She does not wear shoes or any other kind of clothing, wearing her stand instead.

Stand Appearance:

Door is a baby-blue body suit, covering from the neck down to the ankles. Red streaks – as if made by a paint brush – spiral around the suit, starting at the left wrist, around the shoulders, down the torso and waist, and finally ending down the left leg.

The suit is flared where it ends at the neckline, wrists, and ankles.

Stats:

Power- A (The ability can cause sure-fire destruction)
Speed- C (Fast for a human, but average for a stand)
Range- Touch
Durability- C (Same as speed)
Precision- A (Precise motion needed for activation)
Potential- D

Abilities:

Door has the simple, but powerful ability to forcibly separate any physical objects. The separation can be clean or destructive depending on Elise, but the separation is absolute in every respect.

In order to activate Door, a specific motion is required: Elise must bring her hands together – as if to pray – thrust her hands where the separation will occur, and swing her hands outwards, as though pushing two things apart. Her hands can freely enter things when the motion is initiated, but the separation will not occur until the motion is complete.

The separation is in all respects, meaning any connections, cohesiveness, or sense of 'same' vanishes. For instance, if Elise were to separate a glass of water, the two halves would no longer be compatible with each other; the water would be unable to mix, and the glass could not be fused together. They would maintain compatibility with other bodies of water or glass respectively.

On a larger scale, the separation means that the separated object will no longer share the 'Fate' of what it came from, becoming its own entity.

Door's separation can be applied to solids, liquids, and visible gasses. Once a separation is made, it cannot be undone. If something such as a limb is separated, it can still be replaced by a different limb or prosthetic, the same going for other organs and body parts.

Elise cannot separate herself.

The User:

Elise, for a long time, has left behind a lot of people. Her abusive parents, her neglectful foster parents, her rundown orphanage. Friends. Schools. Workplaces. Despite it all, she remains at peace in her life.

Elise's philosophy is that of the value in removing others; those who leave a negative mark on her life should not remain in her life. The philosophy is not rooted in morality, but her personal relationships with people. As such, she has no qualms about marrying – and raising a child with – a mobster. The Godfather, even.

Her husband has been good to her. Soft, trusting, and sweet. Every crime, every sin, every life crushed under his hands; they don't matter to her. Elise hasn't had to remove anyone in a long time. She's happy, her daughter is happy, and her husband is happy.
