Does Facebook check the uploaded documents are they authentic when verifying an account with them ? - question

Hello, I would like to ask when verifying a profile with an ID card/ passport or so, does the Facebook support, verify its "authenticity" , I try to verify a facebook profile with one nationality and the his document has another one ( The person is the same of course, just the official document is with different nationality from registered profile on facebook ) , and it keeps rejecting. And I can't understand the reason, do they check the numbers of the documents themselves ( But if this hypothesis is true, how exactly would they do it on hundreds of thousands of applications and different nationalities , so I think it shouldn't be possible ) ?
