Using Renesas E2 Lite emulator with IAR IDE

Hi all!

Yesterday I started working with RL78/I1C microcontroller from Renesas, more precisely, with one of their development boards. For working with Renesas microcontrollers, the company provides its own IDE, e2, which, unfortunately, I'm not able to acquire (at least not yet) simply because I can't register to their company website.

While I'm waiting for their support team to solve my registration problem, I'm wondering if it's possible to utilize the E2 Lite emulator from Renesas. I only found a document describing how to migrate project to IAR.

IAR supports some Renesas devices, but, as far as I could see, doesn't support RL78 family. Any help or advice would be precious!
