How to diagnose why bathroom fan doesn’t work?

Hey all -

Just moved into a new condo and the bathroom fan doesn’t work. I’ve never done any electrical work before so I’m trying to start by diagnosing which part is the problem.

Here is a picture of the fan control on the wall at the ensuite. None of the settings seem to trigger it to turn on.
