Bike chain cover broken?

While I was riding my chain and this plastic cover came off on my bike (sorry i dont know what its called). I'm not sure but it seems like some notches might have snapped off? Is there any way to fix this, or am I going to have to order a new part. It is a velotric discover plus if that matters. Any help or advice would be lovely!
