The letter from the prologue

Hey everyone. I'm trying to collect all mementos at the moment but I noticed that I'm missing one from the prologue that's supposed to be automatically picked up from you. It's called The goodbye letter. I can't find it in my collectables. Did anyone encounter this? And is there a fix for this?
