I'm done with (Dreaming) Spanish
Im officially done with Dreaming Spanish, and kind of spanish learning in general aswell. I have roughly 850 hours of tracked input (+many untracked hours from podcasts and series) and what can I say; DS is now too easy for me, and spanish is just a language I speak now.
I finished the exam I originally started learning spanish for with top grades, in the oral part of the exam I was asked if I grew up in South America or had spanish-speaking family. (I'm a pretty nordic looking german guy)
I can speak fluently to my preply tutors, some of which have turnes into friends and made plans to visit some time. I understand TV-Shows and political discussions. I even got a fun "shock-moment" many of us language-learners seem to yearn for when I met an old classmate who is half-colombian and my spanish was basically better than hers haha. I still sometimes miss a word here and there but that happens in english as well, which I've been fluent in for 10years or more.
Ultimately I am very happy to have found DS, and very grateful for Pablo for pursuing and realizing his Idea, all the teachers, who kind of turned into para-social friends aswell over the last 2.5 years, and the whole DS-Team in the back.
I hope your business will thrive and you will add other languages in the future. I'm 99% sure I will start learning whatever language you guys will add, as I'm such a fan of this method.
Gracias a todos <3
