Alternative hosting companies not azure plz don’t say but why!

I have used Smarterasp. net for quite a few years, but I’ve noticed their service has degraded.

The reason I like them is the SQL Server space they provide — up to 1GB, either split across ten databases or as one massive database.

The main priority for me is .NET 8 or 9 compatibility and SQL Server space.

I don’t want to use Azure, as SQL Server space and usage can become quite expensive very quickly.

I don’t mind paying for a vm but one we reasonable memory and still managed. To be able to scale.
