My German Shepard/Belgian Malinois won’t stop whining.

I need someone who’s preferably a vet, my dog won’t stop whining ever since we got her these little puppicino stuffies. She never chews on them but she will hold them in her mouth and walk around with them. My mom has suspected a false pregnancy? I was thinking maybe she thinks they are her pups in some way? She is about to turn 3 years old in February. If someone could help me figure this out and maybe save a trip to the vet that would be awesome.
