Married Couples who are both working in IT, Whats happens when one of you gets on-site oportunity.

I wanted to ask, suppose if one of the spouse gets an onsite opportunity, do other one tag alongs on Spouse visa and is it easy to get job in Germany, UK for experienced developers?

How you guys manage this situation, or does you guys stays seperated until come back from onsite
