Is this situation normal?

I said no to the offer as they low-balled me and asked me to take campus graduate CTC.

I have 4+ YOE and I felt bad and disrespected after this. 3rd party HR rudely said that I should forget about CTC and join the company for its brand as others are doing the same for years.

Today Hiring manager, reached out to me and in the mail (no HRs marked) it was mentioned that they are revising the offer letter (I don't expect them to match the offered base with my current base itself as there is 10lakh difference). I am very annoyed and suspicious of this move. Did anyone face a similar situation?

If they somehow match the base, can this be considered a red flag?
