How do you guys manage playing time in dayz?

Bought the game 2 weeks ago, I had played it 10 years ago or so I don't recall exactly but it was the 0.49 version.

I'm loving it so far but damn a session can take hours and hours.

Do you guys just play till you die and then disconnect or you keep going? I feel like all of the sudden im sinking a lot of time in the game, I like it but don't wana become over invested or ill lose focus of other things.
