Too old for this?

I (40f) met a guy (32) at a bar. We hung out as friends once but on our second meeting ended up sleeping together. We've been having a great time for almost 2 months doing stuff that feels like dates (hiking, live music, brunch) but we aren't actually dating so...

I thought I could be chill with a friends with benefits situation but the more time we spend together the more I like him and want more.

It's also slightly complicated by the fact that I live 2 hours away so one of us always has to travel. And I also feel super self conscious about the age gap.

I'm starting to get bummed out and jealous by the thought of him seeing someone else in the same casual way (not sure he is, but he might be), and wish I could just turn off the anxiety and enjoy what we have in the moment.

Anyway, should I risk bringing up the fact that I'd like to go official/exclusive and see where it takes us? Or should I just enjoy the ride for now (pun intended?)?
