Is a spellblade build even possible?

I wanna do a dex/int build and right now I got a Estoc +3 and 16 dex/20 int at level 30, but I Bloghttown is kicking my ass more than it usually does. Am I doing something wrong? Should I just devote myself to either dex or int entirely, or is magic just painful in the early game?
