CSGO sensitivity

Hey, I've been playing since 2016 and have about 3000+ hours so far logged into the game, and the highest rank I ever got was gn4. I looked online for csgo pro settings, and it turns out my sens (3.5 and 1000 dpi) is way higher than most pros.

Should I lower my sens? And if so how long does it usually take people to get used to a new sens?
