Mobile Dev And Web Dev

Is it a good idea to try to learn both? Or should I specialize in one? Does getting experience in one field count towards experience in the other field at least in the eyes of a recruiter? Or is the experience so different that it isn’t considered relevant. I’m undecided in which one I want to specialize in because both look interesting to me but if anybody has opinions on which one I should choose or advice on both fields I’m open to advice!
