Is this a blessing or a curse

I just copped a position at Amazon and I am super grateful. I just talked to my manager to really grasp the scope of my future work and my manager just told me that I will be on the Amazon Banana team. The team's primary focus is the software that tracks the amount of bananas every employee receives and does consumption analysis over time to optimize costs. There is quite a lot of work to be done on the current code like improved data analytics, scalability, and potential features like banana debt.

I am wondering if this is a good team or if I should request a transfer. I am early in my career so I am not sure if they would allow me to request another team. I was placed at the San Francisco location and I would love to stay in the area as well. I think this would be a wonderful learning opportunity, but I am not sure if I want to be on Amazon Banana.
