CS2 cheaters are not an issue

IK I'm gonna get downvoted for this but idc. Watching everybody behave like children abt this game when I know most of the people who play it are adults makes me so mad

Cheating isn't an issue for 99% of the player base, you just lost a game to someone who is better than you. This "issue" is a matchmaking problem, not a cheating one. This is a new game with people joining with various skill levels, and because of that, the beginning of the game's lifespan will be filled with players who's elo is way too high, or players who's elo is way too low. Most of the people who play right now are between 5,000-10,000 elo (silver to gold nova) and that is where most people's rank will be when they get placed. In short, you're just playing against someone who is better than you.

For context, I peaked at faceit 9 and play for my university's counter strike team (probably like esea intermediate level). I only played faceit in cs:go bc of tick rate and better server connection, but stopped in cs2 recently when servers were made better (sometime early November). I was placed at 5,000 elo, and was called a hacker in literally every game I played. I have played about 30, I am now 15,000 elo, and out of the games I played I have only encountered 1 cheater (was a 13,000 elo game). From my experience, the people complaining are just doing it because they are losing, and need a coping mechanism.

This entire cheating problem thing happens in like every competitive game ever when they drop. It even happened when Valorant came out, the game with the fucking crazy spyware anti-cheat. Complaining like this only distracts the CS2 devs to deal with problems that don't exist

And yes IK cheating is worse at ranks higher than me. But ranks higher than me in the 20k-30k range will always have a higher concentration of cheaters. I honestly believe there is nothing you can do about that, there will always be cheaters in high elo. And tbh if you are that high elo, just play faceit. They give you elo back when people get banned

edit: AHK stuff is a problem, and idk if its even fixable. When I said cheating isn't a problem that exists, its obv a problem. Never meant to insinuate they shouldn't be updating VAC bc they should always be to keep up with cheaters. I'm more just mad that people will spend their time complaining instead of getting better, and influencers siding with mad noobs for clicks.

TL:DR get better. You lost that game because you weren't good enough, not because he was cheating.
